Trivia Zoom Group

Hey it's Peter here and I'm about to facilitate my very first Beyond Vision interactive themed Zoom group and today it is a Wednesday morning trivia group but before we start I thought I'd give you a bit of a tour around my office so you can see some of the games and some of the choices that you could have in a trivia group or in any of my zoom groups so I'm here with Tebany and she is going to go through these different choices

(Tebany) Peter has heaps of interactive games especially trivia games like new Family Feud, pub quiz, 20 Questions, Trivial Pursuit, Scategories, Old school versus New school and Think Fast just to name a few of them the list goes on and on and on

(Peter) so it's nearly 9:00 a.m. we're going to make a start and yeah please watch the video to see how it all went

(Kieran) Morning Steve

(Steve) How you going today?

(Kieran) Good thanks

(Steve) that's good good

(Peter) alright I'm just gonna invite Alex too we're all here

(Alex) Good morning everyone

(Kieran) Yeah pretty good thanks

(Peter) We're just saying I think it's been about 2 years since we've spoken to you or since the guys have spoken to you

(Alex) oh getting close to that

(Peter) yeah something like that and you're with Peter Archer from Beyond Vision we are doing our interactive Themed Zoom groups this is our Wednesday morning trivia enjoy

On the computer you have the NRL trivia, Cricket trivia, Harry Potter, animal facts, dog trivia, food trivia, ABC News quiz the games I have around me you've got True Crime trivia, dad trivia, the second slowest gazelle, Trump cards, Monikas, Do you really know your family, hard quiz, lateral thinking, things you should know, car buff trivia, riddles, music trivia, I wish I didn't know that, what came first and life hacks

What can go up a chimney down but can't go down a chimney up? it starts with a U eight letters in it so I'll give you another clue most of us would have one of these things somewhere in the house, to use it you press a single button there there is a saying so put some money away for a how do you finish off that saying

(Alex) A rainy day go

(Peter) Yep

(Alex) An umbrella

(Peter) It is! [laughter]

(Alex) When I grew up we had fireplaces and you know wood burning stable actually it was cold in those days yeah I never thought about sticking an umbrella up the chimney

(Peter) yeah

In the first modern Olympics in Athens which was in 1896 the swimming events were held in what? Was it an Amphitheatre, the Mediterranean or the Harbour

(Steve) yeah I might say A

(Peter) hey it's it's a good guess Steve I probably would have gone that one myself but it's actually B the Mediterranean

(Steve) B [laughter]

(Peter) how would that have been Steve you know you're trying to swim when you know that you got waves smashing up against you and the tides are taking you in all sorts of directions

(Steve) I don't know having the waves maybe two big waves sometimes

(Peter) you know what Steve if you want to win that gold medal mate you have to swim past those waves you have to be tough

(Steve) yeah that will be tough to do that

(Peter) what do you think Kieran would you have been up for the challenge you're a swimmer yourself you're bit of a human fish

(Kieran) probably still be swimming this this time next week think [laughter]

(Peter) so you really had to work for it if you wanted that medal you had to work for it

(Kieran) that's right

(Peter) We'll listen to a song together so we'll have a a tiny little break and we'll all

(Steve) oh yeah we used to [crosstalk]

(Peter) Like what we used to do

(Steve) we haven't done for a while

(Peter) And what about you Steve I'll go to your song straight after?

(Peter) And what do you guys think would you recommend doing a trivia Zoom group to others out there who are interested in you know making friends and doing a fun activity Kieran would you would you recommend it mate?

(Kieran) yeah I'd recommend it

(Peter) What about yourself Alex, [crosstalk] did you enjoy it mate?

(Alex) yeah

(Steve) I think that friends too yeah

(Peter) we're friendly bunch of people so we pretty much have a chat and we get around to trivia eventually but it's just a good time and yeah

(Steve) it's good too
