River City Cruise

Hello Peter here I'm doing a joint outing today with Love to Assist, we have James Coxy here in front of me hello James

(James) hello

(Peter) we have a Mr Chris Smith

(Chris) hello hello

(Peter) and Solo, hello mate how are you and then we also have Kathy over here so we are doing, what are we doing today Chris?

(Chris) we are going on River City cruises where we go to a cruise from Newstead over to South Bank jump off for half an hour then jump back on and come back to Newstead there'll be morning tea on board as well, and who knows maybe quick trip to the bar on the way back

(Peter) ooh

(Chris) I didn't say that [laughter] that's Jame's that said that

Yeah it be a really good day with great with people and as usual great to be a part of a joint activity with Beyond Vision

(Peter) thank you thank you and the weather is perfect look at that, like Chris said it's fully narrated it's $35 or $33 for seniors so we'll check in later and let you know how it was for us so hope everyone's having a good day

(James) and we're going to have a green tea on the cruise woohoo [laughter, muffled talk]

Okay we are at the halfway mark of our River City cruise and just checking in if everybody see how everyone's enjoying themselves and Mr Smith what do you think so far?

[Chris] really good the the commentary is very informative and it gives you great insight into Brisbane's history and some of the historic buildings that we've seen along the way so no it's been thoroughly enjoyable and we're all very much filled up with scone as well

(Peter) cream and jam yeah as well yeah

Solo you enjoying yourself mate

(Solo) I am yeah yeah

(Peter) What's the Highlight for you so far?

(Solo) just enjopying the ride

(Peter) enjoying the ride I love it just cruising

(James) I'm enjoying it cuz I'm with my friend solo (Peter) yes

(Off-camera speaker) gotta make sure there is no favourtism

(Peter) but if you were to pick a favourite

(James) Oh it'd be Solo yeah

(Peter) sorry Chris [laughter]

Kathy are you enjoying yourself too

(Kathy) yes I am yeah

(Peter) first cruise for you

(Kathy) Yes first one

(Peter) Yeah nice yeah no it's really good I mean the day is is going really well beautiful day so check in later on thanks guys

We have just concluded our cruise on the River City cruise and the the name of our boat was Chris remind me again?

(Chris) the MV Neptune that was built in 1966

and is still going strong today

it's obviously been very well maintained

(Peter) Some of us are taking notes you show off [laughter]

So we're going to come up with one word for our experience of the cruise starting with you Chris

(Chris) Informative

(Peter) yeah Solo? (Kathy) enjoyable

(Peter) James?

(James) Fun

(Peter) Kathy?

(Kathy) enjoyable

(Peter) yeah great

and we are actually now having lunch at the Devils Leagues Club in Nundah with a membership card that reduces main meals to about $13 which is you know unheard of and really recommend this place great meals great service good all around
